What we do
The company has been a wholesale bakery since 1988 originally trading as Pye's Pies specialising in pie manufacture. In 2002 the company expanded and now produces the full range of bakery products including bread and cakes. A name change followed in 2004 to reflect a more accurate description of the business. Now known as Bakers Harvest Ltd we supply to the Greater Auckland area on a fresh daily basis to all food outlets, hospitality and route trade, schools and caterers. Martin Gummer has been in the manufacturing industry for many years, managing both large and small operations. He comes to the food industry with a fresh approach ready to continue the excellent reputation of Bakers Harvest and eager to add a further dimension making Bakers Harvest Ltd a leader in the baking industry. Dave Wyatt is the Operations Manager and has been involved in the baking industry all of his working life.
Maree Bennett is the Administration Manager and has been with Bakers Harvest for over 10 years.
Bakers Harvest have 30 staff, some of whom have been on the team for 10 years or more - a testimony to the dedication and commitment to the baking industry.
